This was the second plate i ever painted. The first 5 photos was what i thought was the finished plate. Until a few months after i looked at it from afar and decided it looked bland and it was missing that PZAZ, that bling bling. So i added some purple, red and gold tones.

Along the edge of the flowers it read ‘If i had a flower for each time i thought of my mother.’ i saw that quote online somewhere….
I do think the finished product is the best outcome.
