Engraved Tin Box

I found this tin box way above on my moms shelf. She keeps lose receipts and stuff in there. I really liked it.  I looked at the bottom, it WAS a tin for lady fingers (yum) which i probably ate … a long time ago.

So i drew this lovely peacock (yes my obsession continues) with my hot engraver tool set on high heat. I used a tissue to wipe away excess red tint from the tin.

It took about 2 hours to fully complete with some snack breaks in between. Mom was surprised and loved it very much.

My next tin project is to ‘engrave’ a travel thermos for Shawn. More to come later..
