I painted this place a few weeks ago, but didn’t fire it until today.
Took me 26 minutes to paint this plate. it measure about a foot wide on each side.
I don’t know what my inspiration was, It usually is peacocks or something like a Bible verse… but this time my brain just went crazy on its blank canvas. It is hard to explain how i feel when i am motivated to do a drawing, its like on Heroes when Issac gets in the ‘zone’ and draws the ending of the world, and New York exploded… It is something like that minus all the negativity…
Well I hope you enjoy this cute little plate. I am considering putting it on Etsy, thought i have never put up a ceramic piece and am scared it will break.
Plus its hard to let my baby go.

Wow, that is stunning! You could make a fortune listing those! Do you do customized ones? I bet people would go crazy for those with wedding dates and names or monograms. You could market them as bride and groom cake plates for the couple to serve their slice of wedding cake on!
Yes I paint them custom. Usually for weddings or birthdays. I haven’t listed it on etsy yet.
