I bought this blue crackle plate this weekend (in blue, dark green, lime green and dusty rose). I choose to start with this plate first, it reminded me of the cold winter days and nights, I was sitting in Shawn’s living room and his mom has this candle holder with hollies (or berries) and leaves… I had an idea.
I used a pebeo silver (porcelain marker) and drew leaves around the darker parts of the plate. I embellished the outer area with S curves and berries.
I used my pebeo dark pink paint and the tip of a paint brush to dot the corners. I picked up a lot of paint on the brush and dotted around the edges until the paint was no more. If you look closely the dots are large then become smaller.
